When the girl met her family after 15 years, she became emotional
Due to the efforts of the Anti Human Trafficking Unit of Haryana Police, a girl who was separated from her family 15 years ago has been reunited with her family. Neha, 22, living in Balgram Ashram in Sonipat, was introduced to her family, who came to Maharashtra at the age of 7.

Neha had made an emotional appeal to AHTU ASI Rajesh Kumar to find her family. Neha, who has been living in the ashram for the last 13 years, gave the police some information about her house, which gave clues to her identity. Investigation revealed that Neha’s missing report was lodged in Wardha district of Maharashtra in 2010. She reached Panipat in 2012 and then started living in the government ashram in Sonipat.

The police contacted Neha’s brother Aniket and the family identified him through a video call. After completing all the formalities, he was handed over to his family under the supervision of the Child Welfare Committee. Neha, currently a second year BA student, had tears of joy in her eyes when she met her family.
On this occasion, Haryana Police has appealed to the people to make the Aadhaar card of their children and keep updating it from time to time, so that they can be easily identified in case of any untoward situation.
