The program started with parikrama of cow and green fodder service. After this, 51 Kundiya Mahamantra Yagya was organized, in which the devotees took a pledge to serve the cow. According to religious rituals, 56 types of offerings were made to Mother Cow and jaggery was served.
Omprakash Modi, President of Shri Krishna Gau Seva Sanstha, said that there is a plan to build a total of five big enclosures in the cow shed. Today two enclosures named Radha Govind Dham and Radha Raman Dham were inaugurated. Besides, the road ‘Surabhi Path’ leading to these Dhams was also inaugurated.
Jaipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar and Heritage Mayor Kusum Yadav graced the program as chief guests. To commemorate the festival, a special kite flying event was organized in which children and youth participated enthusiastically.
Mr Raghupati Das, Vice President, Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre, said that the event was not only of religious importance, but it also increased awareness in the society towards cow service and conservation.
