The agency dug the road, did not repair it
Villager Sukhnandan Saket said that it is always difficult to walk on this road. Earlier we used to pass here easily. But now we are not able to leave. I had to struggle for 3 hours to take my bike out. Then somehow, we could not get him out.
There is mud on the road due to rain. Due to this, people are facing problems in transportation.
Construction agencies are working on laying the pipeline of the tap water scheme at many places including Gram Panchayat Lahiya. The road has been dug up due to this. It was not rectified after the line was inserted. Due to this, people are facing difficulty in commuting. Pipeline is to be laid in village Lahiya and Amalakpur at a cost of Rs 27.86 lakh. Its work is continuing.
District Panchayat CEO Anshuman Raj said, people had complained in this regard. After this, we have written a letter to the construction agencies seeking their response. Apart from this, we will also take action against the agencies working in any such field.
