Farmers disappointed due to low prices Farmers are getting very low prices of paddy this year, due to which farmers are looking disappointed. During the auction on Monday, paddy was sold for a minimum of Rs 2,200 and a maximum of Rs 2,700 per quintal.
Even the cost is not covered – farmer Farmers Arjun Lodhi and Ramesh Kushwaha said that this year the rates of paddy are getting very low, due to which even the cost is not being covered. Farmers travel several kilometers to reach Dussehra ground to sell their paddy produce and are forced to spend the night here in winter, but they are getting low rates of paddy here.
