After this, he also attacked his parents and tried to kill them. Smit had also attempted suicide by injuring himself. All three were admitted to the hospital.
Smit Jiyani, the murderer of his wife and son, is undergoing treatment in a private hospital for four days. Smit had gone to the toilet with a constable. The constable had asked to keep the door open. But Smit pushed the constable and closed the door. After this he tried to commit suicide by cutting his throat inside.

On Tuesday, doctors had declared him completely healthy and he was likely to be discharged from the hospital. As soon as Smit learned that the police would arrest him after being discharged from the hospital, he made another suicide attempt.

However, after killing his wife and son, Smit tried to fake suicide by injuring himself.
