The final of WPL Season 3 will be held on 8 or 9 March.

BCCI has finalized 2 venues for the third season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). All matches will be played between 5 teams in Baroda and Lucknow. The tournament may start from 6th or 7th February. Second phase matches will be held in Baroda, which also includes qualifiers and finals.

The official schedule of the tournament is yet to be released. However, the board has informed Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) and Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) to hold the match on their grounds. The official announcement of the schedule will be made in a few days.

Three Women's ODI matches were played between India and West Indies at the Kotambi Stadium in Baroda in December 2024.

Women’s International match was held in Baroda Baroda has the Kotambi Stadium, which was inaugurated only last month. The match between India and West Indies was played here. There were 3 ODIs here. Senior Women’s T-20 tournament and Ranji Trophy matches have also been held in this stadium.

Flood lights have been installed in the stadium. The knockout matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy starting from January 9 will be held here, testing of these lights will also be done in it.

There will be 23 matches in WPL In the first two seasons of WPL, 23-23 matches were played between 5 teams. This time too there will be only 23 matches, for which Ekana Stadium of Lucknow is the first option. Where 10 or 11 matches of the first phase will be played. Second phase matches will be played in Baroda.

The final of the tournament can be held on 8 or 9 March. After which IPL will also start from 14th March. The first season of WPL was held in Mumbai only. Whereas in the second season, Bengaluru and Delhi were made the venues. Bengaluru is the defending champion, while Mumbai won the title in the first season. Only Delhi lost in both the finals.
