Hours after the Indian Armed Forces launched a mission dubbed ‘Operation Sindoor’, reportedly targeting nine terrorist sites in Pakistan, Aarti R Menon — daughter of Ramachandran, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack — expressed her support for the forces. The mission was carried out in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed several lives, including that of Aarti’s father.
Calling it a proud moment, Aarti said there could be no name more fitting than Operation Sindoor for the mission. “The terror attack left many women widowed, including my mother. Operation Sindoor is the apt name for this,” she told the media.
Alongside bereaved families, several political leaders and film actors voiced strong support for India’s action.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin extended his support, stating that Tamil Nadu stands with the Indian Army in the fight against terrorism. “With our Army, for our nation. Tamil Nadu stands resolute,” he wrote on X.
