Raid 2 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Raid 2 is enjoying a solid run at the domestic box office, with its first Sunday showing impressive growth. Raid 2 had a strong start at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 49.25 Cr net in India over its first three days.
On its fourth day, the film maintained its momentum, with early estimates indicating it earned around Rs 21.50 Cr net across all languages, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. This brings its total collection to approximately Rs 70.75 Cr. The film saw a 39.80% overall Hindi occupancy on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with the morning shows at 19.38%, afternoon shows at 45.34%, and evening shows at 55.07%. With such solid performance on its fourth day, Raid 2 is continuing to do well at the box office.
Maharashtra remains the top contributor to the film’s overall collections, with other regions also showing steady growth. The film has clearly resonated with its target audience, as seen in its daily performance. The numbers today will be crucial in determining the film’s long-term success. However, given the strong response so far and minimal competition at the box office, Raid 2 is expected to maintain a solid hold in the coming week.
About Raid 2
In the sequel, while Ajay reprises his role as the Income Tax Officer, he is up against a powerful opponent, Dadabhai, played by Riteish Deshmukh. Audiences can expect a dramatic fight between the two performers, complete with suspense that keeps the spectator engaged. Ritesh Deshmukh, a power-hungry antagonist, strikes a balance between charm and aggression, making him a challenging foe for Ajay Devgn’s character. Vaani Kapoor joins the cast as the Income Tax Officer’s wife, her first collaboration with Ajay Devgn. Raid 2 is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
The first instalment of the film came out in 2018. It was based on a real-life income-tax raid undertaken by Income Tax Department personnel for the Indian Revenue Service in the 1980s.
