The country’s largest insurance company LIC has a 10.72% stake in the NSE. According to the current price of the unlisted market, the value of this stake is more than Rs 59,600 crore.
Stock holding corporation
This unlisted government company has a 4.44% stake in NSE. Its current value is around Rs 25,000 crore.
SBI Capital Markets
It is the subsidiary company of State Bank of India. The company holds a 4.33% stake in the NSE, which has been priced more than Rs 24,000 crore.
State Bank of India (SBI)
The Bharatay State Bank itself also holds a share of around 3.23% in NSE. Its current value is around ₹ 18,000 crore.
General Insurance Corporation (GIC)
This listed company holds 1.64% stake in NSE, which has a current value of around Rs 9,118 crore.
Apart from these, some other government companies like Oriental Insurance, National Insurance, New India Assurance, Bank of Baroda, United India Insurance, Indian Bank, SBI Life, IDBI Trustee and Punjab National Bank (PNB) also have a stake in National Stock Exchange (NSE).
