PM Modi Podcast with Lex Fridman: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday (March 16) that Pakistan responded to every effort of peace from India with enmity and betrayal. PM Modi hoped that he would get goodwill and he would take the path of peace. In a long podcast with Lex Freedman, he also said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also teaches the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Podcast of a detailed conversation between Prime Minister Modi and famous American Podcaster Lex Fridman was released on Sunday evening.
In the podcast, PM Modi said, “I had invited Pakistan to my swearing -in ceremony. But every attempt of peace got the answer with enmity and betrayal. We hope that Pakistan will get goodwill and it will adopt the path of peace.” PM Modi said that he believes that the people of Pakistan also want peace because they too must have been tired while being in struggle, unrest and continuous terror. Where innocent children are also killed and countless lives are wasted.
Prime Minister Modi said that his first attempt to improve bilateral relations was a sign of goodwill. He said, “It was a diplomatic step that was not seen in decades. People who had once questioned my perspective towards foreign policy were surprised when they came to know that I have invited all the heads of state state and our then President Pranab Mukherjee has beautifully imprisoned that historical sentiment in his memoir.”
PM Modi said that this is a proof of how clear and confident India’s foreign policy has become. He said, “It sent a clear message to the world about India’s commitment to peace and harmony, but we did not get the desired results.” The Prime Minister said that whenever India talks about peace, today the world listens to it, because India is the land of Gautam Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi.
He said that his strength is not in his name, but lies in support of 1.4 billion Indians and the eternal culture and heritage of the country. In response to a question asked about his relationship with the RSS, the Prime Minister said that he considers himself lucky that he learned the essence and values of life from such a respected organization. According to PTI, he said, “I got the purpose of life.”
He said that he always liked to join RSS branches in childhood. The PM said, “I always had the same goal in my mind, the work of the country. This is what the Sangh (RSS) has taught me. 100 years of establishment of RSS are completing this year. There is no voluntary organization bigger than RSS in the world.”
A wonderful conversation with @lexfridmancovering a wide range of subjects. Do watch! https://t.co/G9pKE2RJqh

The Prime Minister said that understanding the RSS is not an easy task. In a viral interview on social media, PM Modi said, “It gives its volunteers an objective of life. It teaches that the nation is everything and social service is the service of God. Whatever our Vedic saints and Swami Vivekananda have taught what the Sangh has taught the same.”
