Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced to appoint Mr. D. Anandan as Nominee Director of the Government of India in its board, effective from July 24, 2025. This appointment is in compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulation, 2015 Regulation 30 and 51.
Mr. D. Anandan is a 2000 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, who is from Sikkim cadre. He is currently working as Additional Secretary in the Expenditure Department of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
Prior to his current role, Mr. D. Anandan held several important positions in the Government of Sikkim, including the Rural Development Department, Department of Health and Family Welfare, and the Department of Commerce and Industry. He also served as the Chief Electoral Officer of Sikkim under the Election Commission of India. Additionally, he was also appointed as the Chairman and Executive Director of the Rubber Board of India under the Joint Development Commissioner, Special Economic Zone, Tamil Nadu and the Department of Commerce, Government of India.
