    India's new office inaugurated in CATATA, USA - New Office of Consulate General of India Inaugurated in Seattle USA

    The new office of India’s Consulate General was inaugurated today in CATATL (America). It was launched by India’s Ambassador Vinay Quatra in America. Washington state governor Bob Ferguson, American Senator Maria Cantwell and CATAL’s Mayor Bruce Harel were also present on the occasion. During this, Governor Bob Ferguson addressed the leaders present there and prominent people of the Indian-American community. He described the inauguration of the new Indian consulet as a historical step. Also said that this step will further strengthen the relationship between India and America’s Pacific Northwest region.

    The office of India’s new consulate is located in the middle of the downtown in Seal. It is known, 1015, 2nd Avenue, CAATAL, WA-98104. It is built in the prestigious Federal Reserve Building and has an office on the first and 11th floors.

    The new building has a consular section on the first floor, where common people can come for visas and other services. Administrative and business -related offices have been set up on the 11th floor.

    The place was previously used as the Seatal Branch of Federal Bank, San Francisco from 1951 to 2008. Since 2013, it has been included in the National Register of Historic Places of America.

    Since starting work in July 2024, the Indian Consulate in CAATAL has so far served around 23,722 people. These services have been received by the people of its jurisdiction states- Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vayaming and Nebraska.

    After the inauguration ceremony, the Ambassador of India met representatives of the Indian-American community. During his visit, he also interacted with senior officials of the leading tech companies of the Greater CATIL region, the leaders of the Washington state and the elected public representatives of Indian origin.
