    Farhan Akhtar: Farhan Akhtar's driver loses actor, police filed a case


    Farhan Akhtar: The Mumbai Police has registered a complete complaint on the complaint of film actor Farhan Akhtar’s mother Honey Irani. Police have filed a complaint against his driver Naresh Singh (35) and a petrol pump employee Arun Singh (52) near Bandra Lake on charges of fraud of Rs 12 lakh. The allegations have been accused of withdrawing money instead of buying fuel by misusing Fuel card named after Farhan Akhtar.

    The matter came to light by the actor’s family when Honey Irani’s manager Dia Bhatia saw a mess in the records used for fuel. A vehicle with a 35 -liter fuel tank was shown filling 62 liters of fuel and the records showed fuel purchases for a car sold seven years ago. On inquiring, Naresh Singh could not answer properly and he admitted to using the card to get fuel filled. Further investigation revealed that he had lime with three different fuel cards issued in the name of Akhtar.

    According to the FIR (No. 1668/2025) lodged at Bandra Police Station, Honey Irani’s manager Dia Bhatia filed a complaint in the case on 1 October 2025. The complaint states that driver Naresh Ramvinod Singh has misused fuel cards between April 2022 to September 2025 along with Petrol Pump employee Arun Amar Bahadur Singh.

    At the same time, police investigation revealed that Singh had taken cards from Farhan Akhtar’s old driver in 2022. He used to swipe cards without fuel at the SV Road Petrol Pump near Bandra Lake. Station employee, Arun Singh used to give him a cash amount for a swipe between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500, from which the King kept a part.
