Ranbir Kapoor: 'I get many opportunities easily...' Ranbir Kapoor said this regarding nepotism


Ranbir Kapoor: Ranbir Kapoor is one of the well-known actors of Bollywood. Actor Ranbir Kapoor has worked in many of the best Bollywood films. Recently, the actor participated in a session titled ‘Tribute to Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt’ of the ‘Celebrate Cinema 2025’ festival organized at Subhash Ghai’s ‘Whistling Woods Institute’. In this event, Ranbir Kapoor has spoken openly on nepotism.

Ranbir said that he has learned a lot from his family’s legacy. He said that being a part of the Kapoor family is also a responsibility for him, because it is a matter of pride for him to take the name forward and maintain its prestige through his work.

What did Ranbir Kapoor say on nepotism?

Ranbir Kapoor admitted that being born in the Kapoor family opened many doors to his film career, but maintaining success was not easy. He said, “I am a product of nepotism and I got many opportunities in life easily, but I always had to work hard. I realized that I come from a family with a big identity and if I did not have a different perspective or was not able to create my own identity, then I would not be able to survive in this film industry.”

What was said about being born in the Kapoor family?

Ranbir said, “You guys celebrate the successes of my family, but you also learn a lot from the failures and as much as you learn from the successes, you also learn from the failures.” Talking about his childhood and family environment, Ranbir said, “How do I feel about being born in this family? To me, it was like any normal family, I didn’t know much more than that. There were a lot of arguments, but not of the domestic kind. They used to argue over the right lyrics of a scene or a song.”

Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Love and War’ with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Apart from this, he is preparing to play the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film ‘Ramayana’.
