Now chat will be done by user name
According to WABetaInfo reports, the company is working on a new feature in which users will be able to chat with each other through their username. This means that now there will be no need to share your number to talk to anyone. With this feature the user’s privacy will become more safe. However, this feature will not be limited to just the username, along with it there will also be a four-digit username key. Users will share this code with their username so that only people they give permission can connect.
Testing is being done on this also
According to reports, WhatsApp is now testing a feature that will allow users to reserve their desired username in advance. This means you will be able to book your favorite or special name in advance, so that no one else can use it. At present this feature is available only for limited users of WhatsApp Beta program. This testing will help the company to know how much interest people have in this new feature. It is expected that soon this feature will be made available to all users, so that everyone can choose their favorite username.
