UK PM Keir Starmer: UK PM announces 3 big products with Yash Raj Film, 90's romance will be seen again


UK PM Keir Starmer: A big step by Yash Raj is going to be very beneficial for the entire Hindi cinema. Yash Raj Films, which has produced superhit films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Dhoom 3, is once again all set to showcase the beautiful locations of Britain in its films.

Recently, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited Mumbai, where he made a big announcement, which brought a big smile on the faces of Bollywood fans. UK PM Keir Starmer said that in early 2026, three big films to be made under the Yash Raj Films banner will be shot in Britain.

PM Keir Starmer has shared a video on his official Instagram account regarding the three-film deal with Yash Raj. He told that this move will provide employment to more than 3000 people and can also bring benefits of millions of pounds to the British economy. With Yash Raj celebrating its 20 years in the industry on October 12, these cultural ties with the UK through films can bring new hope and light to Bollywood.

While visiting Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, the UK Prime Minister also met actress Rani Mukerji, who is the wife of company owner Aditya Chopra. He attended a private screening at YRF studios with Rani, where he chit-chatted with the technicians and tried to understand Bollywood more deeply.

He said in his video, “Bollywood is going to make a comeback in Britain. It will bring jobs, investment and many new opportunities for the people there. In this global filmmaking, people all over the world are going to see the beautiful destinations of UK. Our trade agreement partnership with India is starting exactly like this. Development will gain momentum and along with cultural relations, everyone is going to benefit a lot from this collaboration.

Yash Raj has also shared this important video on his official Instagram, where PM Keir Starmer is sitting in his Mumbai studios watching and listening very attentively to the song ‘Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana’ Sanam from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Let us tell you that soon Shahrukh Khan-Kajol’s film DDLJ is going to complete 30 years. Apart from Punjab, this film was shot in England and Switzerland.
