Bangladesh : Incidents of attacks on Hindu youth are increasing in Bangladesh. One more incident has come up. A Hindu youth named Khokan Chandra was mobbed by a mob in Shariatpur district. First was brutally beaten. Then attacked with a knife. After this, they tried to burn him alive by pouring petrol.
According to reports, the incident took place on December 31 in Shariatpur district of Bangladesh. After the death of Osman Hadi, minorities have been continuously attacked during the violent protests.
The attack took place while he was returning home
The report said that the victim’s name is Khokan Das, his age is 50 years. This incident happened when he was going to his home in Shariatpur district. At this time the violent mob attacked Khokan with sharp weapons and beat him severely. After this they tried to burn him alive.
Three Hindu youths killed in two weeks in Bangladesh
Three Hindu youths have been killed in two weeks in Bangladesh. On December 29, Brijendra Vishwas was shot dead in Mymansingh district. Brijendra Vishwas was working as a security guard in a factory. He was shot dead by his accomplice Noman.

On December 24, a Hindu youth was beaten to death by a mob. The incident took place in Hosendanga village of Rajbari district. Police identified the deceased as 29-year-old Amrit Mandal alias Samrat. Police said two cases have been registered against Amrit at Pangsha police station. The mob killed him on charges of extortion.
On December 18, a Hindu youth, Deepu Chandra Das, was killed by a mob near Dhaka and then stripped, tied to a tree and burnt. The crowd accused Deepu of blasphemy. However, the police denied these allegations.
