Hyundai launches new Venue HX5 Plus: Hyundai India has introduced a new HX5+ variant of the recently launched new generation Venue. The new variant is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it an attractive option in the compact SUV segment both in terms of features and price. The Venue is currently sold in trims ranging from HX2 to HX10. While the HX5+ is specifically introduced to fill the gap between the mid-end and high-end variants. The company believes that this new variant will bring premium features to more customers.
HX5+ has many visual updates
The new HX5+ variant comes with Hyundai’s reliable 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine mated to a manual transmission. This setup is said to be able to deliver balanced performance for daily driving and city use. Coming to the design and exterior, the HX5+ has several visual updates that enhance its road presence. It adds features like roof rails, quad-beam LED headlamps, rear wipers and washers, not easily found at this price point.

Hyundai has also focused more on comfort inside the cabin. The 2026 Hyundai Venue HX5+ comes with a wireless smartphone charger, eliminating the hassle of cables. An armrest is combined with storage for the driver, which increases comfort during long drives. Rear window sunshades are provided for rear seat passengers, which prove to be useful features especially in hot weather.

Also updated the HX4 variant of the Venue
Apart from the HX5+, Hyundai has also updated the existing HX4 variant of the Venue, which now adds a driver seat height adjustment feature. This new variant comes at a time when the new generation Venue is getting a tremendous response. According to the company, the sub-4 meter SUV has received over 50,000 bookings since its launch in November 2025.
