Share Market Today News Live Update In Gujarati : The stock market has started flat on the first day of New Year 2026. The Sensex opened at 85,255 today against the previous closing level of 85,220. In the opening session, Sensex rose by 200 points to 85451. Sensex is currently trading 100 points stronger in the volatile session. The NSE Nifty opened at 26,173 today against the previous close of 26,129.
Vodafone Idea rose 6 percent
Shares in Vodafone Idea, which were taken at a low price, jumped 6 percent to Rs 11.38 in the opening session today. While on Wednesday, after hitting a year high of Rs 12.80, the stock fell 11 percent and closed at Rs 10.76 due to heavy selling. Today, Thursday, the Vodafone Idea stock opened at Rs 11.17 and went as high as Rs 11.43. The relief package by the government has boosted telecom stocks.

Vodafone Idea Company to receive huge amount from promoters. According to a report by Money Control, under the new agreement, the company will get Rs 5830 crore from Vodafone Promoters Group. Fund release of around 2300 rupees will be done in the next 12 months.
