In Ranchi, the rebels hurled one bomb after another on the temple during the curfew. The miscreants threw two bombs one after the other in the temple. The police station is at some distance from the temple on which the bomb was hurled in street number one of Hindpiri area of the city. 12 hours before this incident, miscreants had pelted stones at the Mahavir temple in the city.
The incident of throwing bombs by miscreants has been captured in CCTV. It is visible in this. Three miscreants on a bike come near the temple. As soon as the bike stops, one of them throws a bomb at the temple. After a few seconds, another throws a bomb and all three leave on the bike. There was no loss of life or property in the incident, but the bomb left black marks on the walls of the temple.

Violent demonstration took place on Friday
Violent protests erupted after prayers in Ranchi on Friday over controversial remarks on the Prophet. The police had to open fire due to arson and stone pelting. During the protest, the miscreants also pelted stones at the police. Three policemen including the SSP were injured. At the same time, two people have died in the firing.
The head of the station in-charge of the Daily Market was torn off in stone pelting by the protesters.
Bihar minister also attacked
Road construction minister Nitin Naveen, who came to Ranchi, was also attacked by miscreants. During stone pelting some people tried to hide in Mahavir temple. After this, the protesters also pelted stones on the temple. The police resorted to lathicharge and tear gas shells to control the crowd. After this, precautionary section 144 was imposed in Ranchi.
Rapid Action Force was also deployed after the violence, but this too fell short.
Uproar against Nupur Sharma
Muslim organizations were protesting the statement of expelled BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Friday. In protest, more than 3 thousand shops of the daily market were closed since Friday morning. After the Friday prayers, a large number of protesters took to the road.
When the police stopped them, the crowd became furious and they clashed with the police. Protesters started pelting stones near Urdu Library and Mahavir Mandir. After this, the police had to fire in the air to handle the furious crowd, during which many officers and policemen were also injured.
To stop the miscreants, the police had to fire with pistols and AK-47s.
