In the city of Ludhiana, Punjab, Corona is preparing to spread again. For the last three days, the cases of corona are increasing continuously. There people seem careless. People are roaming on the streets without masks. After about 3 to 4 months, more than 20 positive cases have been found in the city today. Today 22 positive cases have been received by the health department. After the month of February, now such a large number of positive patients have come up. On Wednesday, out of 22 infected, 17 patients are from Ludhiana and 5 are from outside districts. If we look at the record of active cases, there are 85 cases now. In the case of increasing cases, the infection rate of corona has crossed 1.01 percent. After the month of February, the active cases in Ludhiana started declining. Corona is becoming active once again due to the carelessness of the people. So far out of 110053 infected in Ludhiana, 107671 have become healthy. So far, out of 14781 patients from other districts, 5 are active cases.
29011 got vaccine in 15 days of June
Vaccination centers are being built daily by the Health Department at different places in the district, but from June 1 to June 15, only 29011 people have got the vaccine. In this, 4604 have applied the first, 19373 the second dose. 5034 has administered a booster dose. During these 15 days, the pace of vaccination of children and adolescents has also been very low. 2753 children in the age group of 12-14 years got the first and second doses. Whereas 2857 adolescents aged 15-17 years have administered the first and second doses of the vaccine.
