Voting is to be held in the first phase on 6th July. On the other hand, in the cabinet held on Tuesday, many important decisions were taken by the Shivraj government. In which approval was given to open 23 ITIs including two medical colleges. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave information about these decisions from the election platform. Congress’s state president and former CM Kamal Nath called it a violation of the code of conduct and raised big questions on the role of the current state government and the State Election Commission. Kamal Nath issued a statement saying that the matter of continuous misuse of governance and administration by the BJP government of the state in the elections and openly violating the code of conduct is very serious. On the non-action of the Commission in these matters, the question is arising in the mind of the public whether the State Election Commission is functioning as an independent, fair and constitutional body or not? Is the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government not getting the State Election Commission to work as its own department?
If the commission is not taking action, is there political pressure behind it? Why this kind of conduct is being done by the responsible officials of the Election Commission? Or the Commission does not want to use its powers given by the Constitution for any other reason? Kamal Nath said that the people of the state have no doubt that the Congress government is going to be formed after 15 months. In such a situation, all of you should respect democracy and election system wisely and support the truth.

Kamal Nath said that I expect the Chief Minister to keep himself away from repeatedly violating the code of conduct while following the dignity of the constitutional post. Due to wrong conduct, it may happen that in one half of the constituency, they may get some advantage, but ultimately it will create a far-reaching threat to the future of Madhya Pradesh and will lay the foundation of wrong traditions.
