Promotion in Bhilai Steel Plant
SAIL has released its promotion list. As per the list, 30 Chief General Managers (CGMs) of SAIL have been promoted to the post of Executive Director (ED). Of these, the highest number of 5 CGMs have been promoted from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Under the order issued, MM Gadre will be the new ED P&A of BSP. Earlier, KK Singh was holding the responsibility of this post. Singh has been selected for Director Personal and is awaiting clearance from the Centre.
According to the information, interview was held on June 12 to 14 for promotion to the post of ED in SAIL. The list of 30 officers to be promoted after this interview has been released on Wednesday. In the list, SMS-3’s CGM Kinshuk Bhattacharya has been sent to Durgapur, OHP’s CGM BL Chandwani has been sent to Visvesvaraya Steel Plant. CGM Mines Tapan Sutradhar has been given the responsibility of ED Mines and CGM Finance Ashok Panda has been given the responsibility of ED Finance in BSP.
Interviews for different posts will run till June 18
For promotion to different posts in BSP, the interview is to be held till June 18. Till now GM interview is to be held on 9th, 10th and 11th June and E-3 to E-4 i.e. Manager to Senior Manager interview is to be held from 13th to 18th. All these interviews are going on in the ED workers office. About 150 officers are appearing in this interview. The total number for E-3 to E-4 grade is being told 236. Out of this, 215 will appear in the interview.
