Sharad Pawar knew that Eknath Shinde would revolt, but… - Bombay News

MUMBAI: With the Mahavikas-led government in Maharashtra collapsing and a Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government being formed, sources said it was already speculated that NCP president Sharad Pawar would revolt against Eknath Shinde. He informed Uddhav Thackeray about this, but he ignored Pawar’s statement. The Mahavikas Aghadi government has come to an end due to not paying attention to such an important issue. The chief minister will be the Shiv Sena leader, but the Congress and the NCP have suffered the brunt of Shinde’s revolt.

It may be recalled that Shinde revolted on June 19 and with the rebel legislators he reached Surat and from there left for Guwahati.
