Thieves stole 22 tola of gold and cash worth Rs 3 and a half lakh by breaking the lock of the house in village Mohi of Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. Sadar Police has registered a case of theft on the complaint of the landlord. The police is investigating the matter

Ranu, a resident of village Mohi, told in the complaint to the police that he had gone to Chandigarh PGI for the treatment of his acquaintance. Thieves broke the lock of the house from behind and stole 22 tola of gold ornaments, cash and other items worth Rs 3.5 lakh. The incident came to light when his family reached home and found his belongings scattered. The police have registered a case of theft on the complaint of Ranu.

SHO Rajesh of Sadar police station Hamirpur said that the woman has given a complaint about the theft of gold jewelery and cash from the house. The police have registered a case. Footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized.
