In Risaura village of Maharajganj police station area of ​​Siwan, a fish trader was strangled to death by criminals on Monday night. The family members of the deceased came to know about the incident around 9:00 am on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Kumar Patel, 36, son of Suresh Prasad, resident of Risaura village under Maharajganj police station area. At the same time, after reaching the spot along with Maharajganj Police Station Officer Randhir Kumar and SI Anil Kumar Singh Dalbal, the dead body has been sent to Siwan Mortuary for post-mortem.

It is said that Pradeep Kumar Patel used to do fisheries. On Monday night, after having dinner at home, he went to sleep near his pond in the market. During this, the criminals strangled him to death while dragging him on the soil. The family members of the deceased came to know about the incident on Tuesday morning when the family members reached near the pond with food. Seeing Suresh Prasad lying in the mud with his mouth full, the senses of the family were blown away. After this, hundreds of people from the neighborhood gathered in large numbers after hearing the noise.

Fear of murder on some criminals of the village itself

In relation to the incident, the relatives of the deceased say that two bikes were stolen by unknown thieves from near the pond located in Risaura market of Pradeep Kumar Patel. A day earlier, at a wedding ceremony in the village itself, Pradeep Patel had taken possession of his stolen bike after seeing it. After this some people of the village were adamant on the insistence of taking that bike. Now the family is apprehensive of killing him in this case.
