The financial controller of a company named Realistic and Hotel Management of Valsad, Chanavi, had filed a complaint against the manager who absconded with 1.18 lakhs from the account office without the knowledge of the company. Pankaj Kishanlal Vyas originally from Indore was appointed 6 months ago as Financial Controller in Mangalyam Meadows Company located in Chanavai village. A hotel named Woods Club House is operating in this company. 80 to 100 personnel are performing realistic and hotel management duties on the site of this company.
The cash income from spa and reception and restaurant in the hotel was deposited to Pankaj Vyas, who used to deposit it in the company’s ICICI Bank account at Pardi. But suddenly on June 26, without the knowledge of the company, Pankaj left Indore without signing the register saying that his mother was unwell. An account of Rs.1,18,579 was not found on checking in the account office of the company. On being informed, the manager, who did not return till today despite being asked to appear in the company for the account, betrayed the controller Pankaj Kishanlal Vyas by taking cash of Rs.1.18 lakh and going home. A complaint was registered at the rural police station.
