No clue has been found so far of a 14-year-old student who went missing from Sondongri on July 15. Did he go himself or did someone take him? The police have not been able to solve this mystery till now. Kabir Nagar police searched for him from railway station, bus stand to many places, but the student could not be found. 415 such minor boys and girls are missing in the capital, whose search is not reported even after 10-10 years. Their details have also been uploaded in the central government portal Khoya-Paya. From their photo to name, address and phone number have been uploaded in it. Even after that no clue has been found. The families of many children have given up hope.

Police officers say that under Operation Muskaan, a campaign to find the missing children is being carried out continuously. Meanwhile, in the last 5 days, 12 minors have been traced and handed over to their families. In this, half a dozen minors have been brought from other states. Efforts are on to trace the missing children.

Lost-Found Portal: Data of all lost and found at one place

The Khoya-Paya portal has been launched in collaboration with both the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Department of Electronics and Information Technology. It has two options. A khoya, in which the information of the missing person is uploaded. The missing person’s photo along with their complete personal details resides in it. In it, the phone number of the concerned police station is also kept from the relatives. So that the police of other states can give information when the concerned missing child or girl is found. Second, there is an option to find it.

When a missing person is found at a station or place, his information is uploaded along with the photo. It monitors the women child development. Apart from the police, many departments like Railway Police, Child Line are attached to it. Apart from this, complete information about the missing person is also given in the CCTNS portal. The control rooms of all the districts, railway police are also informed about the missing person. There is a separate cell in Raipur to find the missing children.
