Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd. under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Mission. And Rural Development Department of Gujarat Government held a benefit distribution program of Cash Credit Loan, Revolving Fund and Community Investment Fund to sisters of Self Help Groups at Zilla Panchayat Porbandar under the chairmanship of Zilla Panchayat President.
Best performing sisters were honored
On this occasion cash credit loans of Rs 68 lakhs were sanctioned to 68 self help groups by dignitaries in the programme. Also Rs.14 lakh 30 thousand under revolving fund to 63 self-help groups and a total of Rs. 44 lakh 50 thousand benefits were distributed. Apart from this, the best performing sisters were felicitated and appointment letters were distributed to Bank Sakhi.
Sakhi fairs are an important platform
Products manufactured by Sakhi Mandals can be marketed. Also, the government has proved to be an important platform for bringing women’s talent to the public by organizing Sakhi fairs so that they can become self-reliant by earning money and people can also know the skills of women.
