There were 3 suicide incidents in the city. 30-year-old Kamlesh Sodagar, a resident of Dabholi Yogi Nagar, committed suicide in a shop. There is a shop called Shiv Chhaya in Chowkbazar of Kamlesh dealing in textile job work. On the afternoon of 28th, Kamlesh Sodagar took 4 tablets to be mixed with grain in the shop. His brother was taken to a private hospital for treatment. He died during treatment. In the suicide note, it is written that, I am tired of life, so I am committing suicide.
In another incident, a jeweler suffering from mental illness committed suicide by hanging himself at home. 27-year-old Vanrajsinh Chauhan, a resident of Katargam Darwaza Kuber Nagar Society, committed suicide by hanging himself in a room on the 28th. The deceased was suffering from mental illness for a long time. In the third incident, the dead body of 25-year-old Kamlesh Gorakh Mahalai, a resident of Rameswar Nagar near Limbayat Nilgiri Railway Gate and working in a looms factory, was recovered from Piplod Ginger Owara. On 28th, Kamlesh committed suicide by leaping to his death in Tapi.
