“I can’t imagine how pregnant women would travel on such a bumpy road,” said Hema Malini. My concern is with a Mumbaikar and the job of the police is to control the traffic and guide the people traveling on the road. Today I also faced this problem.
“I’m really scared to go out because there’s a lot of traffic and clutter,” Hema Malini said. Earlier, cities like Delhi and Mathura also had a lot of traffic, but now the situation has improved. I also used to go from Juhu to China Creek and Dahisar for shooting earlier, but it was not a problem at that time. We have to travel frequently for shooting, I have traveled a lot on these roads for shooting. It is very difficult to get there now. It is very difficult to travel on such potholed roads. What Mumbai was before and what it is now.
Hema Malini was also discussed earlier when former Maharashtra Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Gulabrao Patil compared the smooth roads of her constituency to the cheeks of actress Hema Malini. In her reply, Hema Malini said that such comments do not sound good. However, Gulabrao apologized for his absurd statement and came out in front of the media saying that I did not mean to hurt anyone.
Hema Malini was last seen in a film called Simla Mirch in 2020. In 2014, he was elected to the Mathura seat on a BJP ticket. He was re-elected in 2019.
