A big statement of Dr. M. Ravi Kiran, ADGP of South Range Rewari of Haryana Police, who came to investigate the murder of DSP Surendra Singh, who was killed by the mining mafia in Nuh, Haryana, has come to the fore. The ADGP said that on the basis of a tip-off, the DSP had gone to the Tawadu area for a sudden inspection. So there was no backup force with them.
The ADGP said that perhaps due to the sudden decision to act, time may not have been given to call the backup force. Weapons were not used in this incident. After the DSP reached the spot, people engaged in mining threw a dumper full of stones on him, due to which he died on the spot.
Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, Haryana DGP PK Agarwal himself also reached Nuh for investigation. After taking stock of the crime scene, the DGP also held a meeting with senior police officers to nab the criminals involved in the incident.

Iqrar was captured after the encounter
After the murder of DSP Surendra Singh, following the strict stand of the government and the instructions of the Chief Minister and Home Minister, Haryana Police constituted 8 teams to nab the killers. CIA teams from nearby districts adjoining Nuh (Mewat) were also deployed in it. Police teams laid siege to some villages of Nuh from the afternoon itself. By evening, a person named Ikrar, who was involved in the murder case, was caught by the police after the encounter.
Ikrar is the cleaner of the dumper from which DSP Surendra Singh was crushed. According to police sources, when the police surrounded the accused, they fired several rounds at the police team. During this, bullets were also fired at the police vehicle. Ikrar was injured in retaliatory firing by the police. He has been shot in the leg. The police arrested Ikrar and got him admitted to the hospital.

After the encounter, the police also took possession of the dumper that crushed the DSP. Raid is being done continuously in search of other miscreants.
On the other hand, post-mortem of DSP Surendra Singh was conducted at Nuh Hospital in the afternoon. Now his body will be taken to his native village Sarangpur in Hisar. The last rites of DSP Surendra Singh will be performed on Tuesday in his native village Sarangpur.
