A large number of people go to Parikrama from Faridabad and Palwal, there is no train directly to Gwalior.

Agra Intercity Express, which is called the life line of Palwal New Delhi section, will now go up to Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh. Railways has temporarily extended the route of this train from Agra Cantt to Gwalior. Railway officials say that in view of Mathura Govardhan Parikrama and Guru Purnima, this step has been taken for the convenience of the devotees. This will facilitate movement of people around including Faridabad and Palwal. This facility will be available from July 8 to 15.

Let us tell you that only the Gomti Express coming from Lucknow to Delhi is run as an intercity from Delhi to Agra. Presently this train departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 5:40 PM for Agra Cantt. On Agra side it has stoppage at all stations till Palwal. This train reaches Agra Cantt at around 9.25 pm. Railway has now extended its operation till Gwalior. This train will reach Dholpur station after Agra at 10:25 pm. Morena will reach Gwalior at 10:42 and 11:40 at night. After stopping here for about a quarter of an hour, the same train will leave for Delhi at one o’clock in the night. Will reach Agra Cantt at 6 in the morning. It will reach Hodal at 7.39 am, Palwal at 8.18 pm, Ballabhgarh at 8.39 pm, Faridabad at 8.51 am and New Delhi at 10 am. Since on Guru Purnima, a large number of devotees go to Parikrama, including Faridabad Palwal. Due to overcrowding in local trains, its route has been extended.
