Ajay Verma, newly elected general secretary of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, said that there is a wave of change in district Kangra. There is no competition for Congress here. He said that Congress would form the government in the state by winning 12 to 14 seats in Kangra district.
Ajay Verma, who reached Kangra on Monday after being made General Secretary in the State Congress Working Committee by the Congress High Command, was warmly welcomed by the Congressmen. During this, he said that the BJP government of the state has failed to provide employment to the unemployed. If Congress comes to power, along with giving employment, it will also start unemployment allowance.
Expressing gratitude to State Congress Election Campaign Committee President Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, AICC Secretary Raghuveer Singh Bali for making him the General Secretary, Verma said that he had also started politics in student life under Sukhu’s leadership. Now I have also reached the post of state general secretary with his blessings.
He said that ensuring the victory of the party by uniting the workers in the coming elections would be his priority. On this occasion, Youth Congress workers including Congress workers Kuldeep Chaudhary, Sanjay, Vipin Arora, Vikas Verma, Manish Saini, Rajendra Munna, Kalu, Kaka distributed laddus and also took out a rally in the city.
