Aman Mehta has been appointed as a director on the Board of Torrent Pharma with effect from August 1, 2022. Aman Mehta, who studied MBA from Columbia University, New York, also studied Bachelor of Economics from Boston University. Aman Mehta has been working in power and pharma sector in Torrent.
Aman Mehta has been instrumental in bringing about customer orientation transformation in the distribution business. He has also contributed significantly in enhancing operational efficiency. He was the Executive Director of Torrent Pharma and was heading the India business along with Corporate HR. His marketing expertise and analytical skills have strengthened the performance and profitability of Torrent’s India business in a highly competitive market.
Aman Mehta’s most notable achievement was the successful investigation of the Unichem acquisition, which created significant value for the company. He led and pioneered the Organic Growth Initiative. Keeping in mind the new product launch, as a result of this initiative, growth in market share is being seen. He has also played a key role in helping us explore acquisition opportunities and moving the India business towards a strategic direction.
