Amarnath Yatra 2022: A cloud has broken near Amarnath cave. NDRF DG Atul Karwal told ABP News that ten people have been killed in the accident so far. Many people have been injured there. IGP Kashmir said that due to cloudburst near Amarnath cave, some anchors and tents were suddenly flooded. 2 deaths have been reported. Rescue operations are underway by police, NDRF and SF. The injured are being airlifted for treatment. The situation is under control.
The Pahalgam Joint Police Control Room said a cloudburst was reported in the low-lying areas of Amarnath cave around 5.30 pm. Rescue operations are underway by NDRF, SDRF and other agencies.
