In today’s fast-paced life, with the excesses of technology in mobiles and computers, some kids in Mumbai have gone beyond reading books to writing and publishing books. The book ‘Let’s Not Grow Up’ is written by children aged 9 to 11 years. The book has been included in the ‘India Book of Records 2023’. This book is ranked in this category as the book containing the most authors.
The 354-page book ‘Let’s Not Grow Up’ is compiled by Aarush Jain, Hitansh Shah, Khanak Sabu, Rewant Nanglia, Ronav Bihani and Yugen Mehta. The publisher is The Right Order Publications. These six children have been recognized on July 25, 2022 for their efforts in coordination. The book consists of stories by different independent authors of the Mysore school of fiction.
Topics like free period in school, surprise test, sports program, parent teacher meeting, experience in science lab, story of school anniversary, birthday celebration in school class will refresh the reader with his school memories. A release ceremony of this book has been held at Goregaon East on July 31 at 4 pm.
Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, these children reached North Mumbai MP Gopal Shetty. “Children today are moving away from reading books. At a time when books are being lost due to games, games on mobile phones, the fact that children have written and published a book and are releasing it at Goregaon on July 31 is commendable,” said Shetty.
