- Limbayat police registered a case against the accused auto rickshaw driver and started investigation
A girl living in Limbayat area of Surat left for school in an auto rickshaw yesterday morning. Then she left from Limbayat Nilgiri Circle to go to Pandesara Piyush Point by sitting in an auto rickshaw. Another woman and a man were also in the auto rickshaw. But then both of them went ahead and got off. So the rickshaw driver grabbed the student’s hand and molested her. So he got out of the rickshaw while the girl was screaming and ran away. Following the incident, the girl’s mother filed a police complaint and the police is conducting further investigation into the crime of molestation.
A 15-year-old girl studying in class 10 living in Limbayat area was molested as the passenger got off. Yesterday, the girl left home to go to school on foot. Kishori hired an auto rickshaw to go from Limbayat Nilgiri Circle to Pandesara Piyush Point. When Kishori sat in the auto rickshaw, a woman and a man were also sitting. However, when they reached their destination, both men and women got off. Later, Kishori was sitting alone in the rickshaw.

To escape from the rickshaw puller who started molesting, the girl showed good timing and left Bumbabum. Later, the rickshaw driver dropped the girl and fled at full speed. However, the girl wrote down the number of the rickshaw as 3624. Following the incident, the girl spoke to her maternal uncle living in Punagam. So they came to the scene. He conducted a search for the rickshaw puller. But after not getting it, finally filing a complaint with the police, the police has conducted further investigation against the crime against the rickshaw driver.
