An FIR will be filed against Aditya Thackeray, this is the allegation - Bombay News

Shiv Sena leader and former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray’s troubles may increase. The National Commission for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (NCPCR) has asked to register an FIR against them for using children in a campaign launched to save Aarey’s forest. The NCPCR on Monday sent a notice to the Mumbai police asking them to take action in the matter.

It is alleged that Aditya Thackeray staged a protest on Sunday against the Aarey Metro car shed project. He involved children in this political campaign. Aditya Thackeray is the president of the Shiv Sena-affiliated Yuva Sena. Under the banner of the youth army, he started a rescue campaign and in this political campaign he called the minors.

It may be noted that when Devendra Fadnavis was the Chief Minister of the state, he had planned to build a metro car shed in Aarey. About 25 per cent of the work was done. Then in the year 2020 during the tenure of the Mahavikas Aghadi government, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray decided to shift the metro car shed to Kanjurmarg instead of Aarey, citing environmental damage. Now, once again, the decision of the Thackeray government has been changed when the Shinde-Fadnavis government comes to power in the state. It has been decided to build the metro car shed in the vicinity. To oppose this, Aditya Thackeray launched the Aare Bachao campaign.
