In dynamic Gujarat, there are still many villages where development has not reached and students and public alike are facing constant hardships. The thing is that when a river comes between Jeshingpur village of Jeshingpur Dam Paliya of Bhiloda taluk and Paliya in Jeshingpurda, the people of 50 houses of Paliya in Jeshingpur Dam and students of small and big have to cross the river between these two villages to go to school and college for studies.
People have to walk 10 kilometers
During the monsoons, when the river gets heavy, the students’ hours are stopped. As long as there is water up to the waist, the wahalis take the students to the farm at risk, but when the water is high, they cannot go to study and the students are deprived of their studies for four months of the monsoon, having to travel 10 kilometers to the next village, which is affordable. Not so, so the students are demanding that a bridge be built on the river between Paliya in Jeshingpur and Jeshingpur.
Villagers demand that the bridge be built immediately
In this Jeshingpur village, there is also a dairy in Jeshingpur village to supply milk to not only the students but also the villagers of the 50 families of Paliya. Apart from Seva Mandali, there is a village in front of Bhiloda Shamlaji, to take the patient in case of illness or to do other farm work, but the river has to be crossed, so the local people are demanding that a bridge be built on the river near Jeshingpur.
