A huge BJP executive meeting has started in Surat to make an impenetrable plan for the Gujarat Assembly elections. The meeting was attended by about 1000 important leaders and activists including the Chief Minister, the state BJP president, ministers. Various issues are being discussed with the resolve to win 150 seats in the next Assembly elections. The focus will be on strategizing against the growing influence of AAP in Gujarat.
State BJP president c. R. Addressing the meeting, Patil said that in the five meetings held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat, about 15 lakh people joined the Prime Minister. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Gujarat has always been at the forefront of development work. Gujarat has benefited more from the double engine government. Farmers are getting good prices for their crops. Five hundred years later, the flag has been hoisted by Prime Minister Modi on the Pavagadh temple, the center of Hindu faith.
This executive meeting has been grandly organized at Sarsana Convention Hall, Surat. A large AC hall has a separate table for each appointee. On which a bottle of soft drink along with cashew-nuts is also kept. Everything has been taken care of in the planning for the convenience of the leaders and activists. The planning of a multi-national company general meeting is also planned in such a way as to obscure it.
C. R. Patil further said that BJP’s Page Committees and Page Presidents have stood by the social life not only for the political system or election-oriented work, but also in the social system by doing useful work. All over Gujarat, 67 lakh page committee forms have been filled under the page committee program. Booth level A workers have started contacting more than fifty lakh families directly on 52 thousand booths in Gujarat and collecting them on the database application only. By identifying the voter, information including government benefits are being fed.
State Education Minister Jitu Waghan said that with the coming of elections, some political parties and people with anti-government mentality are spreading false illusions about the functioning of the government by spreading propaganda, but the people of Gujarat have remained with us.
