Speaker and MLA involved in all-party meeting
An all-party meeting was held in Speaker Rabindranath Mahato’s chamber today to ensure smooth functioning of the House during the monsoon session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly starting from July 29. Opposition BJP MLAs did not attend the meeting. While the MLAs of CPI-ML including Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress attended the meeting on behalf of the ruling party.
After the meeting, Congress Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam said that this is not the first time. Actually BJP’s legislature is not the leader of the party. Sometimes they send it to someone or something. He said that it would be discussed in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee to be held on July 29. He said that in the meeting, discussions will be held with the BJP members for the smooth functioning of the House.
Alam said that on August 1, a possible drought-like situation in the state will be discussed in the House. Chief Minister Hemant Soren also attended the meeting called for the monsoon session.

Alam said that drought has also been discussed in today’s meeting. The state is moving towards drought. The drought is expected to be declared by August 15. This will also be discussed in the business advisory committee meeting.
At the same time, during the monsoon session, the departmental secretary has been specially directed to give all possible answers to the questions of the members. Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato has directed the Chief Secretary of the state to make attendance in the officer’s gallery mandatory. The officers have been asked to be present during the conduct of the House at all costs. Not only this, special instructions have also been given to the officials regarding the bill. Special attention has been given to the translation of Hindi and English before sending the copy of the Bill to the Raj Bhavan.
Let us tell you that the monsoon session of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly is going to start from 29th July and will continue till 5th August.
