Demonstrators arrive outside mall to recite Hanuman Chalisa, police action taken - Bombay News

Controversy is increasing day by day after a video of offering Namaz at Lucknow’s popular Loolo Mall went viral. On Saturday, activists of the National Hindu Protector and Karni Sena staged a protest outside Looloo Mall. Protesters who arrived at Looloo Mall with Jai Shri Ram sticks in their hands were entering for the Sundarkand recital and chanting of Hanuman Chalisa, when police and activists clashed. According to the information, about 20 activists who were protesting outside the mall were arrested and after that the security of the mall has been increased.
An activist of a Hindu organization said, “Why are we being stopped from reciting Hanuman Chalisa when prayers are being offered inside the mall?”
It may be mentioned here that on July 8th, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Looloo Mall and the mall was to be opened for citizens from July 11th. On Wednesday, Hindu organizations were outraged after a video of some people offering namaz inside the mall surfaced on social media. The manager of the mall, Sameer Verma, has registered an FIR against offering namaz. Meanwhile, notices have also been put up to offer religious prayers inside the mall.

Two young men recited Hanuman Chalisa

Amidst the controversy caused by Loolo Mall, a video of Hanuman Chalisa reciting after Namaz has surfaced, in which two youths are chanting Jai Shri Ram and chanting Hanuman Chalisa inside the mall. The security forces present at the scene caught both the youths and handed them over to the police and after that both were also arrested.
