In order to maintain law and order in the entire area of the district considering the current situation, the Additional District Magistrate of Narmada district H.K.Vyas issued a proclamation dated From 1st August, 2022 A curfew has been ordered in the entire Narmada district during December 31, 2022, prohibiting certain acts that violate the Schedule-Policy.
He has said that during the said period no arms, batons, swords, spears, guns, guns, knives, sticks or lathi or any other instrument capable of causing physical injury shall be carried in the entire area of Narmada district. Do not carry any corrosive substance or explosive substance. Not to spray or throw stones or noxious liquid chemicals or carry, collect or prepare other throwable objects or machines or equipment for throwing or pushing such objects. Not to show human beings or corpses or figures or effigies. Not shouting obscenities in public, singing obscene songs or moving in crowds with intent to insult or publicize. Not to make any speech, make such gestures or prepare, display or distribute such pictures, leaflets, playing cards or any other objects or things which violate the Suruchi Policy. Doing such acts will be prohibited.
A person who violates any clause of this Proclamation shall be liable to punishment as per Section-135 (1) of the Gujarat Police Act-1951. Police officers holding the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police to Sub Inspector of Police serving in Narmada district have been authorized to lodge complaints against persons violating this order.
