Haryana’s Dera Sacha Sauda president Ram Rahim has been granted parole. The jail department has granted parole to Gurmeet Ram Rahim, lodged in Rohtak’s Sunaria jail. Dera supporters are now suspecting that Ram Rahim, who was released from jail, is not genuine and has filed an application in the High Court seeking an inquiry into the matter.
Doubtless the gesture is not like the real Ram Rahim
The petition said that the gesture of the Dera president who came out on parole was not like the real Ram Rahim. At the same time, it has been claimed that the real Dera president has been taken to Rajasthan. The petition seeks an inquiry into the matter before the government and the matter is scheduled to be heard in the High Court on Monday.
Got a month’s parole
Ram Rahim was released from jail on the morning of June 17. During his parole period, he has been staying at Baghpat Ashram in Uttar Pradesh. The ashram is located in Barnava village of Baghpat. The Haryana government has granted one month parole to Ram Rahim.
The largest ashram of Gurmeet Ram Rahim in the country after Sirsa in Haryana is located in Baghpat. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been lodged in Rohtak’s Sunaria Jail in Haryana since he was convicted of rape in 2017. However, he is currently out on a one-month parole.
