Surat: Due to increasing criminal activities, people have started calling Surat as crime city. Surat Police is behaving as if it has failed to stop crime. In Surat city, incidents of fights between headstrong gangs are on the rise. Yesterday, there was a firing incident on a Mindy gang member in Lalgate area of the city. Arif Mindi’s son-in-law Haji alias Bilal Punawala was killed in the firing. The police investigation has revealed that Faim Sukri, the accused of double murder, did it. Phim is currently out of prison on parole. After the well-done firing, panic has spread in the entire area.
Incidents of public fights and firings are on the rise due to internal feuds between several gangs in Surat. It is as if the fear of the police has disappeared among gangsters. Yesterday in Lalgarh area of Surat, some persons fired four rounds at a person and escaped. The injured person was shifted to hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was revealed to be the son-in-law of Surat’s headstrong Arif Mindi. The members of Arif’s gang rushed to the hospital after coming to know about the incident.
The fear of Arif Mindi gang in the city is increasing day by day. Apart from embezzlement, the Mindy gang has been booked for many crimes including usury business and bullying. Regarding the incident, the police have registered a case of murder and set the wheels in motion to nab the accused. According to the preliminary information given by the police, this firing was done by Sukri. Phim Sukri is an accused in the double murder that took place at Janata Market. Phim is currently out of jail on parole.
