- 27 km long road with loopholes of corruption is a shame for motorists
While passers-by often fall on potholed roads, a truck carrying nightwear sewing machinery from Delhi to Surat fell on the dilapidated road due to corruption loopholes in the Ladwell Pansora road works. However, a fatality was avoided as there was no vehicle behind the truck.
The construction of Ladwell to Pansora road was carried out for the last two years. However, under the weak leadership of the locals and under the watchful eye of the road and building department bosses, it seemed that the road work was being done at a slow pace by the agency. In it, the road became very dilapidated and bumpy up to 25 feet every 400 meters due to the quality being compromised by the cutters. Due to which the drivers suffered a lot.
A truck carrying sewing machinery from Delhi to Surat in the dead of night fell victim to the dilapidated road. Following the dilapidated road, dust started flying on the road after the vehicle in front passed. As a result, the truck driver, who was passing by with the machinery, suddenly fell down as the ropes of the heavy machinery kept in the truck broke when the truck reached the dilapidated road. Fortunately, there was no vehicle behind the truck and a major accident was averted.
But the balance of the truck that reached the dilapidated road was wobbly and the machinery hit the road. It remains to be seen when it is the turn of the people of the district to stumble, even though there are three major office bearers like the Union Minister and the Cabinet Minister including the Chief Whip of the Legislative Assembly to serve the people in the district.
