TMC president and Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has once again come under controversy over her statement. Mamata Banerjee had said in a program not to lend to housewives. The video was tweeted by BJP’s IT cell president Amit Malviya. He also termed Mamata Banerjee’s statement as an insult to women.
“Don’t lend knowledge, intellect and housewife to anyone. If given, no refund is available”, says WB CM Mamata Banerjee.
Are housewives immovable property? Can they be lent? Such statements undermine the dignity of women.

The video clip shows Mamata Banerjee saying in her speech that knowledge, intelligence and housewife should not lend to anyone, as she is not likely to get it back. Questioning this, Malviya said whether housewives are immovable property. Can it be lent? Such statements hurt the dignity of women. Such mentality of the CM is responsible for crimes against women in Bengal.
