Necessary interim structure has been approved for holding the upcoming elections to the seven assembly constituencies included in Mehsana district. The General Administration Department of the State Government has given the establishment and approval for the period from 1st September 22nd to 31st January 2023. Apart from this, the district level has also given institutional approval to set up an expenditure monitoring cell.
The electoral body is instructed to implement from 1st September
The mecum of this cell has been sanctioned for the period from the date of declaration of election till 31st July 2023. With just a few months left for the state assembly elections, the administrative system has started the pre-preparations in full swing. The need for additional staff in the District Taluka and Returning Officer’s offices arises to conduct the Assembly elections, as a result of which the General Administration Department has approved temporary staff for the necessary staff in view of the election-oriented operations. The electoral body is instructed to implement from 1st September
