Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. This decision of Captain Harmanpreet Kaur also proved to be correct. Renuka gave Sri Lanka their first tweak in the first over in the form of Hasina Perera. After this, Renuka gave another tweak by dismissing Vishmi for 7 runs.
